About

Why these colors?  Military green cargo pants and a pink lace tank top drive the colors. We are all two sides of a coin. Some of us land on one side or the other and rarely flip, though the elements of both sides always exist within us. Then there are a few of us who  teeter on the edge. We occasionally fall to one side or the other, but something in life always seems to put us back on that edge. There is nothing wrong with landing on a side or living on the edge, as long as it makes you happy and fulfills your life.

We are duality, Yin and Yang. We can be strong and powerful and fragile and weak. Knowing this and accepting it makes us whole.

Morgan Summerfield is a volunteer staff writer and the content manager for this website. She is also our face. The rest of us are very shy. You will find a number of links to her articles, because she is a prolific writer and the subject matter for much of what she writes has to do with real life and women in particular. You may have guessed she was a teacher. In supporting her, you support this website. More about Morgan.

This site is not for profit.

The concept of this site is to provide a source of information and encouragement for women who are attempting to improve their health and well being. We will keep it free as long as we can afford the web hosting and the data transfer fees.

Recommendations for any products or services on this site are based on credibility and usefulness not financial gain.

The content manager for this site is a woman who has traveled the path back to health and is working on her well being. She has already experienced many of the challenges and pitfalls along that sometimes treacherous path. She knows first hand some of the things we will need on our quest.

Those of you who live in or near the Fayetteville, Georgia area may have seen our content manager running, skipping, hopping, walking, weight lifting, and dancing her way along Jeff Davis or 85 in the mornings. Honest, she isn't crazy. She is just happy. She has discovered some secrets about life that the rest of us are still learning and she is enjoying her discoveries.

We are low budget and low tech. We know enough about creating web pages to be dangerous, but not enough to be 'glamorous.' If you find a typo, feel free to tell us, but don't beat us up about it. This is all volunteer. We do the best we can with the time and resources we have at our disposal--which are sorely limited.

If you have a question or a suggestion, send it in and we will try to respond as soon as humanly possible. Oh, did we forget to tell you we are human?  We are. We make no excuses for being just that. We are who we are and life is what it is. We make mistakes, but we try to learn from them. We are so not perfect.

If you find our information of value, tell a friend. If you don't, sorry we could not accommodate you and have a well day.

Where is she?

"I beg your forgiveness in advance."

If you see me on Jeff Davis or 85 and wave, or toot, or holler and I do not respond, please do not think I am ignoring you. One of the following is likely to be true:

  • I didn't hear you. My music is loud.

  • I am lost in the music. I have escaped.

  • I am writing an article in my head. Darn multi-tasking brain.

  • I am formulating a new book. Ideas tend to grip me when I least expect them.

  • I am conjuring characters. This is so much fun. Am I smiling?

  • I'm too tired to raise my arms. Maybe I managed a slight nod and you just didn't see it.

  • My glasses are steamed up. This happens often.

So please just pretend that I waved and smiled, because I would if I saw you and know that I appreciate you thinking of me.
